This originally works only with the Japan version but I've figured that it should work on the US version (and it does) without having to keep copying the files over. This hack feature only 2x HP, 2x Attk, 2x RCV, and max-skilled on all monsters. It works on 5.3.0

 
1. Load PAD and enter a dungeon
2. Press the HOME button to return to home screen. Hold the HOME button to enter task manager. End PAD task.
3. Copy/Replace over the 2 bin files in /data/data/jp.gungho.padEN/files/
4. Set permission of both these files to 555 (this denies write permission for the game and prevents PAD from replacing them with their old files). 
5. Set user:group to root:root for both these files. Delete all cache in the folder /data/data/jp.gunho.padEN/cache/webviewCacheChromium/
6. Load back into PAD and you will see you HP doubled, attack doubled, and skills maxed.
 
After finishing a dungeon and enter another one, you will see that everything returned to normal. In this case, just repeat only step 2 and load PAD again. No need to re-copy the 2 bin files over again.

I'd like to add some additional benefits I've found using this. 

 

1. My double Horus do 25x instead of 16x.

2. Horus and Ra does 30x instead of 24x. Ra's leader skill doesn't need to activate for the 30x to happen, just Horus.

3. Hera-Is' Gravity reduce 50% HP instead of 30%

 

Although, not as cool as the 1 hit KO the iOS people got, but still pretty damn good along with 2x HP/Attk/RCV/Max-skilled. This got me all the way through my normal dungeons.

sorry, i meant i can't seem to find the directory for the files, not the modded files. are these viewable only in a root manager? ive only tried the regular file browser. also, im not familiar with how to change the user:group root:root thing, any advice would be great. thanks!

You need to be granted root access. Look up instruction on how to root your phone on google. Then you can use "Root Browser" to handle the files. To change the user:group, just click on the file and hold until a list of option comes up, and then click on ownership and change.

 

This still works after the 5.4 update.

I've been using this for a while now, and since it still works after the update, I highly doubt it will be detected anytime soon, if ever.

List of Monster active/leader skills after modding:

Ra only needs 4 colours to activate 6x. Ra active is 3 turns 100% defense.

Horus only needs 4 colours to activate 5x.
Chinese gods only needs 3 colours to activate 3.5x. Kirin only needs 4 colours to activate 5x. Can use dark.
Awoken Zeus' gravity does Change the World 10 secs, instead of 35% gravity. 3x atk is in effect from 50% hp and above.

*Green Zeus leader skill becomes 3.5x dmg if below 100% hp.
Empress Echidna delays turn by 10. Orochi also does 10.
Basic and mid Red devil does 3turn 10x atk Bomb. Leader skill same as echidna.
Basic and mid Green devil does Defense down 5 turns.
Basic and mid Blue devil does delay 10 turns.
Basic and mid Light devil does 30% gravity.

*Basic and mid Dark devil does 5x atk Poison.
Final tier demons do orb augment, with the +.
All non-mystic knights change hearts-->colour.
Elemental series still does 3turn colour protection. Sylph does 5turns.
Green Odin damage reduction is in effect from 50% hp and above.
War Deity B.Odin does God type 3x attack up for 2 turns.
Isis does God type 3x attack up for 2 turns.
Keepers get bumped up to 5 turns 50% defense. Ra gets 3 turns of 100% defense. Susano stays the same.
Hera extends orb movement to 12secs
Goemon activates 5x when hp is 70% and below.
Anubis activates 10x at 8+ combo. MUCH easier to get insane damage. (Note: When paired with ra/horus, any 8+ combo even if not getting 4+ colours, will activate 60x/40x)
 

 

Updated for Batman Arkham Origins monsters:

Robin changes from Green to Light. base form has no active skill nor leader skill.

Batarang changes from Dark to Green. base form has no active skill nor leader skill.

Batwing changes from Dark/Blue to Light. base form active Heart->Dark, Dark->Light, has no leader skill

Catwoman changes from Red to Green, base form active Heart->Light, Light->Green, leader TBA

Nice, I guess some monsters get get an upgrade, while some got downgraded. Ichidna 10 turns is definitely useful though, unlimited delay loop.  :D

Now double checking the effects of this, my monsters aren't given the time's x2 buff. Just the hp and the minimum for goemon has been raised by alot.

Goemon has been covered in my edited list above. Hp is doubled, you will notice this because your hp bar is half empty when you restart the game. For the attack, try matching a set of orbs, no combo, check your monsters damage, and then restart the game and repeat it, you will notice that your attack has definitely gone up.

Yep I did that, I tried with a monster that hits for 1. And you're correct. I can't remember why but I remember when I tried this with other monsters I wasn't seeing the x2 for atk and rcv. Must have been my imagination.
